WHO IS SHOPCARE?

ShopCare is a Charitable Trust formed in 2022

ShopCare is working with stakeholders across the industry, including NZ Police, ACC, WorkSafe, ICNZ and others, to develop a range of solutions to address health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) issues and transform outcomes for our workers in the retail sector and supply chain.

ShopCare is working with RedSeed as an online content partner.

Together, we’ll create a library of courses focused on raising the health and safety capability of the retail sector and its supply chain.
Launching in March 2024 with four courses on strategies to de-escalate violent and aggressive behaviour (VAB). We’ll continue to add further, relevant courses to the library as we build them.
The courses are available either via the RedSeed LMS or on your own LMS.

Frequently asked questions

Are the ShopCare courses FREE?

Some courses are free for a limited time (e.g. VAB de-escalation courses). For access to all the courses, you can buy a subscription to the ShopCare library and pay per month or for a yearly subscription (save 17%)

How does the pricing work for a subscription to the full ShopCare library?

Pricing is per user, per month, or you can pay for an annual subscription (pay for 10 months, get 12 months access for a 17% saving). If you have 10 team members, you pay for ten seats. If someone leaves and you hire someone new, you still have 10 seats.

Can I upgrade/downgrade my user numbers?

Yes, of course! You can update your user numbers at any time and after the FREE introductory offer period you will pay a pro-rated rate for the remainder of the period (month or year) and then the new rate following that.

How do I access the training?

Choose which option you want to sign up for. Fill in your details, including your email address, and all the login information will be sent to your email address.

My company already has an LMS, can I access the training?

Yes, you can! Fill out your details here, we’ll make contact and send you the SCORM 1.2 files for you to load onto your existing LMS.

I am an individual - can I do the courses?

Yes. Choose the ShopCare Course Library with the RedSeed LMS option, sign up here and pay (if required). You will be sent an email link with access to the training.

We’re an AEP (Accredited Employer Programme) company. Can we still access the training?

Yes, you can. Please sign up here and someone will be in contact to discuss your needs.

What device can I do the training on?

You can access the training on any desktop, laptop, tablet or phone.

Is there an app?

Yes, once you have login details, you can download the RedSeed app from the Apple or Android store and access your training through it. You do need to be connected to the internet to access the training.

Can I cancel at any time?

Sure, we’ll be sad to see you go — but yes you can cancel at any time!

Why do I need the RedSeed LMS?

If you already have an LMS (Learning Management System) then you don’t! However, if you don’t have an LMS then you’ll need somewhere for your team to access the ShopCare course library and the RedSeed LMS is the easy option!

If you‘re already a ShopCare + RedSeed customer you can manage your account here. You can update user numbers and payment details, download invoices or cancel your subscription.
